I don't know why everyone thinks they're so ugly. They look like pretty nice shoes, just the color is hard to pull off with a suit that you'd wear in banking. But I could definitely see those being useful on occasions where you have to dress up and go out.
Those shoes look nice, but you would be pretty Euro styling to wear them to work. The would look good with a navy blue suit. I wouldn't wear them to work unless I was a VP or above. Just my .02 cents.

That's a tricky color, but maybe a navy (not too dark a shade of navy, though) with white pinstripes?

Got it, I saw the shoes at Gilt.com and honestly had no idea what exactly to pair them with. Oddly enough they sold out.
That's a marketing ploy to make you think they're worth buying by lying to you and saying that a bunch of other people bought them and they sold out.
