Pandemic, Working from Home, and Career: How harder is onboarding during times like this?

Hi, I'm a college senior who just signed a 2021 full-time position and am nervous about the onboarding process if the pandemic isn't over by then. I want to know about how new full-time analysts who started this summer feel about the learning curve, joining a new team, getting trained all virtually. It would also be great to hear from associates who train new analysts about their experience.

  • What kind of challenges do new analysts face at work during this unprecedented time?
  • How has the pandemic affected the firm's performance and growth opportunities for you guys?
  • How is the workload you have compared to the workload you expected?
