Today will be one of the most highly watched non-super bowl NFL games ever. It will be an epic clash between the heathen women-loving cosmopolitan Tom Brady and the hardcore jesus freak Tim Tebow. Of course, ultimately it's just football, but for millions of Americans it's way more than that. A Broncos victory will signifty to them that Christian values reign supreme and that Jesus rewards those who adore him.
The Broncos victory will show that the Denver D is pissed from week 15 and that Von Miller plans to take tommys head off.
Sure it will. Or maybe it will just show that Tim Tebow is not a good QB and that Bill Belichick is a smart coach for hiring McDaniels and taking Timmy and his high-school level reads seriously. I personally was not surprised that the Broncos beat the Steelers considering their QB had trouble making several movements in the pocket due to his injury, their top RB was out, two of their linemen were injured in the course of the game, and one of their safeties was unable to play. Oh, and LeBeau made a fatal error and lined his coverage up in man-to-man against Denver's speedy receivers.
But other than that, it was a monumental upset. Pats will cover the spread easily.

I'm pumped, too. Pulling for Tebow and the Broncos all the way. I like Tom Brady--he's been a good role model for young people, too--but there's just something special about the 2011-2012 Broncos with Tim Tebow the miracle kid under center. 42 MILLION watched the wild card game last week. This could be 60+ million with the Patriots in the mix.

I will never understand the hate Tebow has uncovered when people talk about his religious beliefs. The kid donated his sign on bonus, spent summers at a missionary and does all he can to help sick kids and other people. In a sport full of criminals it is pretty nice to see someone break the mold.
Yeah, he is a so so pro QB, but he is athletic and entertaining. The Broncos have had a pretty decent year with him at the helm. Even Tebow gives his team credit so it isn't even as if he is hogging the lime light.
Tebow all the way man. Like ANT said, it's awesome to see someone break the mold that way. And he puts on a great show.
I don't hate Tebow; in fact I think he is a great guy. The problem I have is with the out-sized amount of media attention he has received in proportion to his skills. I want to watch football games and listen to football analysis, not listen to side stories.
^^^ Agree, but that is the media for you. I am sure Tebow would be cool with being left alone and just playing the game. He does get a lot of attention because of the nature of the games he has won. I mean that bomb he threw to beat the Steelers in overtime was nuts. Shit like that will get a lot of media attention.
