I have spoken with some senior people by phone at good MMs over the past months (about three right now). When the conversations went well, they have forwarded my resume to their head of recruiting. The recruiting head has gotten back to me to say that they are recruiting in the fall. This person is not likely to be HR since smaller firms don't always have dedicated recruiting teams.
What I am trying to decide is: 1. Should I follow-up now, July 28, 2016, or, wait until mid-August? 2. Do I follow-up by asking for lunch/coffee? 3. Or, do I follow-up with the MD/senior that forwarded my resume in the first place?
I am a recent graduate, class of May 2015. Also, I have limited, small boutique experience only.
