This is going to sound harsh, and I'm not trying to be a huge douche, but do you know what investment banking is? On that list, you've selected a well-known PE firm (Brentwood), and an agricultural-focused commercial bank (Rabobank). Make sure that you actually read about the company and the job description before applying.
Moving beyond that, I'll say that Wedbush is solid, but mostly known for equity and debt placements, not as much for M&A (they do provide it though) - also not sure if you even want M&A.
I've never heard of Block, Bowman and they don't even appear to have a website, but I found a few on LinkedIn. My guess is the deal flow is probably poor there and small.
Salem is decent. Very up and down with deal flow levels, but they get some nice lower MM M&A and private debt engagements.
Thanks for the insights about Brentwood and Salem. I understand that Rabobank is an agricultural-focused commercial bank with an investment banking arm. Based on this vacancy, I believe that Rabobank does more than just commercial banking.
You're correct about my investment banking knowledge not being up to par with most users. I'm working on it though. I'm sort of a latecomer to these forums and am trying to catch up on my knowledge, so I'm just trying to get an internship to get my foot into the door in any way I can.
