My first job out of undergrad took the CFO 2 weeks to get back to me with an offer letter, when I sent thank you letters the night after the interview and when I was told the day after that I "had the job".
Be patient, you're dealing with busy people who have a lot to juggle during the day. I can think of many days during the week where I'll leave work very late, get my grocery shopping in, workout, talk to friends, deal with last minutes finances, then think, "oh shit, that guy I interviewed two days ago, I need to get back to him on his offer".
SB +1 for you Sir for such a quick reply.
That's what I was thinking, but I forgot to mention that during the interview process, the whole team pretty much kept saying that they are trying to bring someone aboard (position I've applied for) ASAP, since they don't have enough hands in the group and especially since so many are doing vacations and such.
But you're totally right, I think I'm being paranoid. I just don't know if I should go ahead and follow up with at least one of them or wait 1 more week before I do so.
Honestly, just show up for work tomorrow and find an open desk/office. I think they will be impressed with your initiative. Alternatively, be patient and reach out on Tuesday. People are busy with coming back from vacations and getting their kids sorted out for school.
piggybacking onto this, if they offer you the big office, take the smaller one, you should feel cozy. and you'd better get to work on that Penske file
Yes, yes of course. The Penske file. Ho ho, can't wait to sink my teeth into that. Wow that Penske. Well we'll straighten him out.
I think your username definitely fits your personality.
Just wait, no need to get peachy. And remember, you are never guaranteed the job until you sign on the dotted line.
Haha touche to that, Sir.
Geeze coffee&adderall, give the people a break. Do you realize how swamped they probably are after taking labor day off. Your fine!
