Positive discrimination is the next big thing
Definition of Discrimination: "Bias or prejudice resulting in denial of opportunity, or unfair treatment regarding selection, promotion, or transfer. Discrimination is practiced commonly on the grounds of age, disability, ethnicity, origin, political belief, race, religion, sex, etc. factors which are irrelevant to a person's competence or suitability."
Banks or so called "Equal Opportunity Employers" be like: We don´t judge or discriminate people regarding their sex, race, origin or ethnicity.
Banks also be like: "Women of Tomorrow is a female only programme", "eligibility requirements: Applicants should be black, Hispanic/Latino or Native American", "only eligible to apply if you are a female student"
Just imagine for a second that a bank holds an event saying: "Your are only eligible to apply if you are a white male graduating in ...." Mainstream media would lose their mind.
Positive Discrimination is still Discrimination.
PS: For Feminists only: Instead of looking at a management board consisting of 18 men and 4 women and shouting "Discrimination", you should maybe show some logical thinking and you will see that there is a high chance that there were just more male applicants (f.e. 72 male and 13 female). By the way I never hear you complaining about the high percentage of men in the construction industry or in the military. Not "nice" enough for diversity?
look at all the feminists throwing monkey shit at me for speaking the truth lol
...what's your fucking point?
Generally speaking I am bored and fed up with feminists and liberals. Besides that the "fearless girl" pulled the trigger haha
Positive Discrimination; support for, that is (Originally Posted: 04/22/2015)
I am not talking about race, hell no, I am talking about life style informed by wealth and intelligence.
As I grow old, I don't want to hang out with certain people any more. If I can help it, I don't even want to see them. So subway, public transport is a no go zone. I have to see idiots.
My logic is idiots live, but I don't need to see them and I shouldn't have to.
I am asking a question whether it would be beneficial for everyone to voluntarily segregate themselves. Again no, I am not talking about race. I am talking about life style which is determined by wealth. There are stupid rich people who act like proletariats (as the English used to call them) - I say let them. But for those of us who want to live by maximizing the wealth, why not support positive discrimination?
Students are better off living with students, in hall of residence. I never understood why students wanted to live out the hall if they can help it. The hall offers protection from rather harsh community outside world. You not having money, not being able to dress like a proper individual, they don't matter as long as you stay in the confines of the student populations. They might do a room-share, but who cares, they are students! They have no standards.
Graduates that just started a career are better off living with like-minded, same-life stage individuals. It goes without saying that. For example, you live with your roommates for a while etc. You start a journey to find your own style, and learn to live within your means.
Mid-career people for mid-career people. They can afford nicer things than the previous 2 groups of population. These are likely to be living on their own.
Senior guys who can afford really nice things and by this time, you have your own "standards."
Again my view starts with an assumption that everyone holds different views, but largely what we can do and what we can't do in this world are determined by wealth, therefore, we can use a person's wealth as a proxy, as a way to understand each individual.
