PR 101

A great example of what you're not supposed to do as a PR rep. You especially don't want to do this if you're a PR rep for a company that supplies gamers. Gamers who spend their entire lives communicating with each other over the internet. This guy is a complete fool.

Read that on a game forum I used to be really well known in the other day. Hilarious, but not that shocking. I used to meet some of the most rude, inane people at tournaments and conferences like PAX.

A Posse: Yea, I did some reporting for a video game news company, went to PAX a few years back actually to report on it. In my experience, most gamers are awesome people, you just have to get to know them. A lot just get nervous meeting new people because they've had bad experiences with it in the past (courtesy of everyone that was a douche to them in high school). Of course, just like everywhere else, you'll see outliers.
