Price of IB Analyst Apartment
What price range of apartments can an IB analyst afford, assuming they have to pay off student loans, and don't have daddy's money to buy an apartment?

Man this literally varies by person. “Paying off student loans” is not a lot to go on. You could have $30k in student loans or $200k. You have to do the math for yourself. Assume $85k base ($60k net) and go off of that.
Assume about 50k (what I'd guess is average from an elite university)
The general rule is 40x monthly rent = inimum gross salary needed. So if rent was $2K per month, your income should be at least $80K gross per year.
Ranging from living at home ($0) to $2800/month from what I have seen. I'm sure someone has paid more.
