Private Golf in NJ/NY and Costs
Hey Monkeys, I'm on the college golf team currently and will start full time in NYC next year. First off, I am trying to gauge the costs of a golf membership in the area, and see how often I will play. As a 1st year analyst I think I might be able to get out for a day on weekends. Can anyone speak on what the buy in costs/monthly dues look like for typical clubs. I understand there are some membership options for younger members (35 or less) so I was curious about what some of those costs look like.
I'm mostly thinking about middle tier clubs, primarily in North Jersey. I really don't have any golf connections (or money) yet that could get me to the high end courses in the area.
