Project-onomics: Inside a street gang's books...
FRIDAY TIME WASTER ALERT!!!
Ever wondered about the economics of a street gang, and how much money there really is in slinging crack rock? Freakonomics author Steven Levitt and his co-author Sudhir Venkatesh got a Chicago gang to open the books for them, and the results are pretty interesting. The video is about 20 minutes long and covers everything from wages, to franchising, to economic theory as it relates to gang banging.

I know it doesn't have much to do with banking, but hell, it's Friday and what the hell else do you have going on?
Great post Edmundo, I was always interested in that kind of stuff.
Edmundo, great post. I have actually read a decent part of the book at the local Barnes & Noble. It was fascinating, but I didn't want to pay a fuckton for the hardcover since I would only read it once.
