Promotion schedule
I know PwC does three years at associate before the promotion to senior, and I was always under the impression that the other firms did just two years at associate before promotion. Then, at a recent BAP event with PwC, a senior there told me to his knowledge all of the Big 4 do promotion to senior after three years at associate, not two.
Can anyone shed some light on this? I realize its not entire a huge deal, but it is definitely something I would weigh in making a decision if only one firm does promotions on a slower schedule than the other three.
He has no idea what he's talking about. If you want to verify, do a quick LinkedIn check. Everyone who has been at the other firms for two years or more will have the senior title.
