PTO / Holiday in London

Recently moved from Big 4 to an IB and wanted to get views on taking the 24-25 days PTO (strictly in UK / Europe given the cultural difference). Heard from a few peers its encouraged at their shops but wanted to get a broader sense on whether its looked down upon or general comments? How much impact does it have on bonuses / feedback (if any)? Assume you are not 100% logged off during PTO days, so still available on email, laptop on hand if needed.

Thinking a week in Easter, 2 weeks spaced out in Summer (June to August), a week in Christmas, and rest for 2 long weekends / emergencies. Personally think if the difference in reward isn’t significantly meaningful then not taking PTO is just money left on the table.

just don't take anything more than 10 days in one go. and make sure you're holidaying in conventioanlly less busy deal flow periods, i.e., July/august and depending on your team. make sure you get your holidays booked in at least with 4-5 weeks notice.

most banks will force you to take all 25 days and there isnt much room for carry over for the next year/or pay, in your contract.
