Puerto Rico - Real Estate and Lifestyle

Initially, I was going to ask in the real estate section, but I figured I'd have better luck here.

(a) Has anyone in this fine community is from or has lived in Puerto Rico?

(b) What do people think of real estate there?

From Puerto Rico, born and raised. RE is a fairly large part of PR's economy, but most industries have taken a big hit after the hurricane. Prices were already pretty cheap, now they're even more but infrastructure is so weak it's likely the island has another big power outage from hurricanes in the next few months. So, high risk as ever. Tax incentives are less than before but still much better than typical US businesses

Ah! Thank you! Do you mind if I PM you for more color?
I have a friend who lives in the country, and it's supposed to be an hour from 42nd Street. A lie! The only thing that's an hour from 42nd Street is 43rd Street!
