Depends to what extent the mention is. If that is an article about you, or you have authored the article, or were interviewed as an expert for a considerable part of the article (i.e. at least 10 meaningful sentences), then it definitely worths including. It it is just one line about you - I would personally not do that.

Go for it. LinkedIn's entire purpose is self-promotion so shouldn't be an issue. Just don't go become a "LinkedIn Influencer"
