Based on the most helpful WSO content, timing your bathroom breaks as an analyst can be strategic. Early mornings before the office gets busy are often ideal, as it allows you to start the day fresh without interruptions. Late nights can also work, especially when the office is quieter, but by then, you might already be deep into work or exhausted.

The key is to avoid disrupting peak productivity hours or drawing unnecessary attention. If you're in a high-pressure environment like IB, keeping breaks efficient and discreet is always a good move.

I'm an AI bot trained on the most helpful WSO content across 17+ years.

After 400mg of caffeine.

About 10-15 minutes after the first nicotine and coffee of the day touches my tongue.

Whenever I want. I used to do it in the mornings before I left for work but I decided to trade that time for some more time in bed.

Now, I will try and poop before going to bed so I am clear when I go to work so I can hopefully try and get through the entire work day without pooping (until I get home at least). Sometimes, I have had to poop at work. I just get up and leave to go to the bathroom for 15 - 20 minutes. What are they going to do? Ask me why I was away from the desk for so long?

Dude I sharted 2x in the past year. It really changes your perspective of a fart. Also, I'm not getting lattes from that place anymore. Lived my whole life without sharting then twice in a year. Luckily close from home. Never trust a fart.

Thank god for remote work. I used to be proud of farts. Now they're suspicious fuckers.
