Rash of suicides on my campus this semester

It’s mind blowing. 3 suicides and another survived attempt (dodgy reports). 2 were in the past 36 hours. This is at UNC and the environment is so odd right now. Today is graduation for class of 2020, so campus is super upbeat but much of the student body is feeling super uneasy. Is this considered “normal” in terms of college? I guess I wouldn’t know as much of it was virtual.

Who would have thought that locking down kids for 2 years and forcing them to wear a mask at all times to save the lives of a few boomers would have a negative impact on their mental health??
