Hi all, I've budgeted around GBP 1,500 pcm, salary is around high 60's. Am I being too ambitious / should I go for something more affordable? What websites do you use to find flatmates? I have been using SpareRoom but have had no success. Are there any ways to connect with other IB professionals looking to flatshare?

Me and a lot of my classmates have pretty decent flats (sharing with 1-2 other people) for £1000-1250 pcm w/o bills in Marylebone/Paddington area. For ~1500-1600 you could already get a studio in places like St John's Wood.
As for websites, Openrent is nice since you avoid the hassle of talking to agents and speak to the landlords directly. Zoopla is also worth checking out if you haven't yet.
