Recommendations for Detachable Monitors for Laptop? (Considering Xebec Tri-Screen 2)

Hello. I'd like to purchase a detachable monitor(s) for my laptop and am leaning toward the Xebec Tri-Screen 2 which contains two detachable monitors. Given that my job is heavy on spreadsheets and I foresee doing similar work in the near term, I'm interested in high-quality detachable monitors that I can take with me globally for remote work down the line. My laptop has a 13.5" screen size and I'm leaning towards the Xebec Tr-Screen 2. Questions:

  • Does anyone have experience with the Xebec Tri-Screen 2 and if so, would you recommend it for finance jobs? Are the screen size of the monitors big enough for enhanced productivity?

  • Are there any detachable monitor brands that are the gold standard in terms of quality or their compatibility with finance? Open to suggestions on other brands.

  • Any particular docking station that you'd recommend for tri-monitors like the Xebec or will any standard docking station suffice? I have a j5 create docking station presently and only one USB port on my laptop.

  • Any particular setup or additional accessories that you think would contribute to enhanced productivity or optimal work conditions would be appreciated.

Appreciate the thoughts in advance.

Just to be clear, you're set on those kind of detachable screens vs say a pair of 27" monitors and a docking station? For instance, I use a Hopday USB-C docking station (non-charging unlike the Lenovo I had before) to hook up the corporate XPS 13 or personal G5 to the monitors, KVM switch for mouse/keyboard, ethernet, audio, etc. All from a single USB-C Thunderbolt connection, making life a lot easier.

Not experienced with something like the Xebec specifically, but 1920x1200 making it 16:10 with a 60hz refresh? Using USB-C or mini-HDMI for connectviity to each screen vs full-on HDMI or DP from a single source? It ain't the best, but I guess it'd certainly work.

Thanks for the response, but 27" monitors sound pretty bulky. I'm looking for a more portable set up that could help with a possible work while traveling situation down the line, which is why I was leaning towards the Xebec.
