Reggae House Music is Paradise

While working from home one day, at some point during a random shuffle of a suggested house music Spotify playlist, your ears experience something they haven't been exposed to before. At first, it's seemingly familiar; repetitive 4/4 rhythm at a tempo of 120 bpm. Solid bass drum, off-beat hi-hats and snare drums, interesting yet enticing synthesizer riffs. Then the unexpected happens that catches you by surprise. Another familiar sound, but not where you're used to hearing it. Mixed in the 4/4 rhythm and the house beat, an electric bass, more drums, bongos, trombones, cuatro guitar, steel pans, and maracas. "Is this... reggae?" you ask yourself. it is. it is reggae. You've now been introduced to the most hip-moving, head nodding, arm-raising, foot tapping music ever created: reggae house music. You become instantly bricked up by the new sound. your mind is suddenly conflicted. Do you drink a vodka red bull? do you roll a joint? both. you do both. this is reggae house music. and it is paradise.
