JJ is going to make Gane look like a little girl.

Francis leaving the promotion is a bad thing, he 100% deserves to be calling his shots given the power he has and performances he's given.

Wilson | "If you don't have any enemies in life you have never stood up for anything" - Winston Churchill | "It's a testament to the sheer belligerence of the profession that people would rather argue about the 'risk-adjusted returns' of using inferior tooth cleaning methods." - kellycriterion

Jon Jones hasn’t fought in years. People thinking he’ll wipe the floor with Gane need to take off their rose tinted glasses.

Francis leaving for boxing seems like a terrible decision. He might get paid decently for his first fight but he’s not that big nor does he market himself enough to warrant some blockbuster payday. His boxing also sucks so if swinging for a KO doesn’t work, he’s going to get pieced up by a real boxer.

I think people forgetting just how good Jones was. Only once in his career was he even closely challenged, not to mention his only loss was on some nonsense.

Him vs Gane will be a good fight. Gane’s only loss was to the most powerful heavyweight since Lesnar. I will def be watching

I don't think it was nonsense. It was illegal 12 to 6 elbows if I remember correctly. There are some moves you can't do. This isn't Vale Tudo.

Yeah you’re correct, but those shouldn’t be illegal in the first place. Dana’s had some good interviews explaining that nobody wants to be liable for injury if the rules are changed now. Also, those elbows are really a judgment call if you think they’re actually 12-6 or not.

Fighters can throw 10 to 4 elbows or 2 to 8 elbows. It is slightly different, but allowed. Jon Jones should have known the rule. I'm not sure why he didn't follow the rules - if he forgot or thought the ref wouldn't care or spot it?

I don't disagree with you, just pointing out what I see / saw
