Resources that shed light on the economy?
Any resources available that give some perspective on what's going on in the world? Europe in particular is almost impossible to follow.
I subscribe to the WSJ, FT, and Economist but would love to know how you guys get your insights on the actual implications of news.

Real answer is read as much as you can and synthesize it yourself. Read a investor letters from a few HF or AM guys you respect. Read history. Truth is, it ain't easy. If it was, everyone would trade global macro (or run the state department).
