Childhood idol growing up. Wanted to meet the fellow. I literally just got back from LA to SD and I get this as the news.
Not going to be a fun day. I agree, he defied the odds and showed us his brilliance. RIP.
Besides the obvious physics subject matter, there’s a lot to learn from Stephen Hawking. If you think about the extraordinary physical difficulties he faced, it would have been easy to understand if he would have given up on life. The fact that he became a world renown physicist is truly remarkable.

This man achieved more in a wheelchair in one lifetime than generations of people achieve throughout their healthy and pointless lives. A true badass who said fuck you to death and lived like a champ untill the end. Definitely one of my top 10 heroes. RIP.
