Robinhood Leverage Exploit

In case you’re not familiar with what’s going on, check Bloomberg or Google Robinhood Leverage Exploit and read the Reddit thread on Wall Street Bets to get up to speed. In my eyes, I see this behavior as 100% criminal and fraud; however others I know would disagree. I just can’t understand why Robinhood hasn’t fixed the exploit nor shut down options trading. I see Robinhood as a platform that exploits amateur investors to begin with, but I have a feeling this is about to blow up. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
