Has anyone had any success in networking via the Rotary Club? The Rotary Club probably won't help with college students or fresh grads looking to break into IB / Mgmt Consulting, as it consists of a fair amount of older members.
However, I would imagine that it could provide some value later on in one's career - for moving into or between PE, HF, and VC firms.
I theorize that The Rotary Club, and other similar organizations, would be good places to network as they have a strong emphasis on service... and you're never gonna find a "bad person" willingly volunteering.
