San Fran Locals, does stuff like this really happen?

#3 on this list: http://www.cracked.com/blog/5-reasons-san-francisco-worst-awesome-city-in-america/

Supposedly near a really busy mall and near a main street.

wanna chime in more about the positives? might have 2 opportunities, 1 in nyc, 1 in sf...never been to sf, but liked nyc

As someone said before, life outside of work in SF is awesome. Not sure if you're into toker culture, but I can say from experience that a certain green herb is essentially free in CA. By free I mean available the way cigarettes at a club are - ask anyone and you shall receive. The "no cops anywhere" thing really shines here.

The weather is a constant Spring - Summer situation. It was 75 at highs and 60 at lows in the past week, with higher temperatures in the summer. T-shirts and hoodies or dress shirts and jacket year-round.

Chinatown is huge, and if you're into Asian women then this city is a treasure chest, otherwise it's still basically a treasure chest.

I think that if you have the opportunity and it doesn't screw around with your career in terms of positioning yourself for exits, go to SF and live in a constant "beginning of June" for a few years.

in it 2 win it

SF whether you like it or not will become the greatest city in America very soon in terms of industry. With the fall of Wall St. and the rise of Silicon Valley, it will be inevitable.

Lol

Grew up 30 mins from SF. Was a SA there. LOVE the city. It's awesome. Great atmosphere. Tons to do without being overwhelmingly big and busy like NYC.

But I will say, you def see more dongs out on the streets then would be preferable.
