Sanvello (Mental Health App)

My bank offers a free subscription for Sanvello, an app that provides some cognitive behavioral therapy strategies, guided meditations, options for therapy, etc. So far, I've had a positive experience with it, but sometimes the advice they offer can be a bit cheesy or obvious. I do appreciate the reminders it sends tho that make me take a moment to reflect on how im doing mentally and how to remedy it if im not doing well in that moment. Would be happy to hear if others have had good experiences with Sanvello or how to get the most out of the app, or if you know of better options

I find that apps in general are trying to essentially reinforce your ability to create a system of habits. These apps are useful since they let you consciously work on a things like guided meditation until it becomes a recurring consistent part of your routine on a daily/weekly basis.

I've used a few apps on & off:

  • Breathe: really user friendly meditation
  • HabitShare: great for reminders /habit tracking - can be synced for work schedule as well
  • Strong: great for tracking workouts
  • MyFitnessPal: notably the one I used the least, but I've heard great things; used for tracking caloric intake and macro breakdown
  • MS Excel (obviously): as a one-stop shop for tracking habits/scheduling

I've also heard Notion can be quite useful as a Desktop dashboard.

damn didn't know MyFitnessPal had a mental health feature also.
