Stocks like Walmart, McDonalds, and other Well ran value price businesses. In times of recessions people will spend less money on goods and turn to these operators. Walmart is up 20% over the past 12 months, Mcdonalds up 16%. Also index funds man. The US Economy has been on a fire sale for the last 6 months and people are buying in. Just look at the SPY Index - nearly up 20% over 12 months.

How can we answer when we don’t know what that money will be used for? Is it fun money where you can attack individual stocks and options?

Is it your emergency fund or for something like a house down payment and you are most concerned with capital preservation and want to find a safe haven while also trying to get as high an interest rate as possible?

Low effort post doesn’t lend itself to helpful or bespoke advice.
