Should I go for a backpack or...

I only need to carry food with me from home to office, nothing more

I have a backpack but is quite ugly, duffle bag of the company is too big and not this easy to transport with food containers inside it

should I get a new backpack? or shall i find a smarter way and avoid carrying anything? Im lucky enough that commute home-office door to door is 7 minutes

if getting a new backpack advices on which one could be a good catch? I saw the suitsupply one but is quite expensive

Briefcase/small messenger bag.

Think small-ish, black nylon soft sided or the like.  Basically a laptop bag but bigger.

As to the lunch? If you think you can own it get a plastic lunchbox. Preferably with an 80s theme like TMNT or Transformers.  You'll have an easy way to strike up conversations.  If you don't feel that you can rock it then just use tupperware.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

a bento box of some kind could be good since they're generally very compact and some are even collapsible
