side husstles

I'm reviving an old topic but are any of you guys doing any side-husstles / consulting work / other streams of income?

I am interested to figure out a way to make extra money, but it has to be a way of scaling my skills, because time is tight and I have at most 1 day per week I can give the extra husstle.

Previously I made some money writing PPMs for some PE firms but they paid s**t and each PPM had so many revisions and took too long to write that I ended up making less in that task than I could have in other ways, and it really threatened my day job.

I did freelance capital raising / cap intro for some funds, but they all only want to pay on success fee basis, so that wouldn't work, because actually raising them $ is a full time job.

I live in China, so was thinking maybe some sort of US-China import/export. If I can think of some US product that is lacking here, or vice versa.
A friend of mine who is a PM at a hedge fund started a business that imports kosher wine from Israel to HK. That's grown into a nice business and he's hired another former private banker to run the business. It pays a bit less than finance but is a much more fun business.

They do wine tastings for their clients (PWM and HF) and they LOVE the products. Genius.

What else is out there?
