since i feel that tese 300 response listings are a bit insane im making a new one

Hey, I should start out by saying thank you for putting that trade4life motherfucker in his place. It proves an Ivy League degree can't buy social skills. I have been reading your other posts, figured out you work at Trillium, and I have a couple of questions for you. I know you said they usually don't take interns, but that wasn't one of my questions. For ease, I'll number them.

1) I looked on the website and noticed Trillium is probably very equity focused, and even has some automated programs (not sure if they are HFT). I am interested in financial markets as a whole, but definitely find myself more interested in FX and commodities. It isn't a money thing, after reading this board for over a year it is clear that anyone with an edge and a good strategy can make money in any asset class. If you don't have those products, do you think there are any plans to move in that direction?

2) I have been reading that some prop shops are starting to open up to outside money and have HF departments as a result of fin reg eating away at bank prop groups. Do you think Trillium will be doing this? I'm sure it means the industry will be expanding, I just want to know how wide spread this is becoming.

3) How much do the strategies differ from trader to trader at Trillium? I like to use a swing strategy with longer holding periods, but I have friends who will not hold a trade for longer than 30 minutes.

I'm sure this is enough for now. Thanks in advance, from one unknown state school to next,

Matt

ahh, I wanted that thread to get to like 10 pages...then a year later we can go back to it and see how all the topics changed on a daily basis....probably looks like we have schizophrenia.

It just sucks that Trade4Life deleted all his threads because there were some SB worthy answers to his retarted statements.

Props to this kid for using the Trade4Life homo as an ice breaker...quality networking
