SJW in Tech
Why are there so many SJW in tech and modern media like Netflix? I've been keeping track of Netflix's Witcher Series, which originated in Poland and somehow they are trying to turn white polish characters into other races that are not known to be in Poland at the time. Also one of the main writers is a proud SJW who spends time trolling conservatives on twitter.

Its just entertainment. Hamilton was a phenomenal musical that I really enjoyed. They re-casted every white person as someone who wasn't white. Is that really a big deal? Entertainment and media can really just do whatever they want and if you don't like it then don't use it. It's artistic freedom

Model life has become very easy - but we still need a purpose, some reason to get out of bed. Thus you have SJWs who are primarily white kids from middle to upper middle class families who have decided to take on the role of champion of the weak and poor as their life mission.
It's a function of geography. Where are the most liberal crowds? Cities. Where are most opportunities in tech and media? Cities. What target market is most scalable and has money to spend? People in cities.
If I'm Netflix, trying to increase user growth and my millennial users want Asian people in medieval Poland, they're getting their goddamn Asians.

Don't overlook the largest growing consumer base in the world - Asia. And I don' think Asians want to see Polish women playing the role of Asian goddess in their movies....so complicated...can I go back to 1997 when no one gave a $shit about this kind of stuff?

Buddy in b-school was working at a startup in the Bay for his summer internship. I can't recall the exact story, but he was supposed to read something that 2-Chainz was quoted saying. My buddy read it and says that he spoke it a little gangsta, but not exaggerated... mind you, it was originally quoted in the same manner. This girl, who of course identified non-binary, instead of speaking with him directly that she was upset raised it to HR that it was extremely offensive and he was required to make an apology and attend some local meeting on microaggressions. He said many people, including the CEO and other founders, told him in private what he did was entirely OK and not out of line, they would have too, but they were all just terrified of triggering this girl.
Come to think of it, I'm pretty happy in my finance bubble.
