I used to work in retail. Everyone that worked there would intentionally give douchebags a hard time. If you were nice and treated an employee as an equal, we'd do everything to help. If you were a douche, we'd do everything to make things worse.
Never mess with retail employees--the "Apple Genius" can erase your hard drive if they want to and say it was a computer failure.
