So facebook just halved its revenue or am i missing something?

So that advertising bar on the right hand side that makes most of their money, yup half of that went for the news feed. I've got 2 ads there when it used to be 3 definitely,4 if my memory isn't hazy.

Wuts going on?

Um yes you are missing something. I still have 4 ads along the side. Also, I strongly doubt that 100% (or even close) of Facebook's revenue comes from the 4 ad spots on homescreen. Shoddy reasoning my friend.

My guess is they make a lot of revenue from the applications / games as well. Surely enough to make a dent in the ad revenue given how much some of the app makers are worth...
