I got mine out when I was younger, and I didn't have any pain whatsoever when I had all 4 of mine removed. I wisely decided to save all the painkillers i got and took nearly all of them at once a few days later. Needless to say I was VERY happy that day.

True story.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

If this is true, you are quite fortunate that you did not OD on acetaminophen. You'd have to be absolutely retarded to take more than 4000 mg in a day.

i too was in a lot of pain when i had my wisdom teeth pulled a few years back. did your dentist give you vikodin? that shit is off the heezy! :-)

Money Never Sleeps? More like Money Never SUCKS amirite?!?!?!?

Thanks for the intel guys. I was going to make an appointment to have mine removed. Fuck that shit, I've been fine and they grew in when I was 16.

in it 2 win it

Not to scare anybody, but my cousin got a staph infection in his cheek from when he got his pulled.

I, on the other hand, had no problems at all and didn't need any painkillers post-op.

An oral surgeon did mine. I think that is KEY.

Mine went well, and I was back at work the next day and didn't need the painkillers at all. Guess I was just lucky. It was pretty swollen though, but I drank alot of water and it didn't get infected or anything. I tried taking the painkillers the first night but all they did was tear up my stomach.

To those getting it done in the future, definitely know who your oral surgeon is and their reputation. He took mine out from the sides and it ends up better that way than just cutting in straight from the top.

Some dipshit Taiwanese dentist fresh off the boat speaking Chingrish pulled mine out. I swear the drill-bit he used looked like something bought from The Home Depot. To my surprise, I came out of that procedure fine -- no prescription painkillers needed. An over-the-counter ibuprofen was all I needed from time to time. I was eating soup for about 2 weeks straight after that, but that was a small price to pay.
