Spain kicks ass man. You'd have an amazing time, even if you don't actually run. I've been there to watch the running and it's a very cool spectacle. Can't even imagine how fun it would be as a non-14 year-old. Obviously the rest of the country is worth seeing also.
Maybe you could even write-off a Spain trip as a charitable donation..

Spain is cool. It's also potentially doable with a 5k budget so long as you don't throw down for too many bottles! Make sure you go to Barcelona and stay at the Hotel Arts - worth every penny!
