Tesla as an Automobile

Hey all,

I wanted to hear from some of you guys what you thought about Tesla’s themselves; not Elon Musk or the performance of the company.

Do any of you guys own a Tesla? Have you ever driven one? Did you like the way it performed? Do you think autonomous vehicles will eventually be the standard? I had the chance to test drive a model s and a model 3 .....(neighbor has a model 3 and the model s was at a dealership). I was hesitant at first , since I have always been a car guy and wasn’t ready to be open to an electric car as an option for me, but I have to say that it was a Pretty sweet experience.
Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts that have driven one.

My dad just got a model 3 recently. It's honestly so sick...it has a ridiculous 0-60 and when he'd gun it, that thing would fucking move. It's also super cheap to own (either charge it for free at your home at "normal" speed or charge at a supercharger station for $6 for a full 310 mile charge). Lots of things can be done with the car through the phone app, and of course two trunks, which is a nice plus.
