It might have some success, but I doubt it will come close to the likes of TD or E-Trade. I just don't think the way that they plan on bringing in money will work. While fees on margin trading and premium services for active investors sounds good in theory, I don't know how many big accounts will be opened with Robinhood. The investors/traders that would trade with high leverage and purchase premium services are probably not really bothered by broker commissions, so why would they switch to a different platform?
That being said, I'm definitely going to open an account and play around with it
