I made a promise that if I ran over a 28 minute 5k, I would force myself to run a marathon. Clocked in at 26 on the dot, thankfully. Not bad for my first 5k in about a decade.
Two dinners: one at girlfriend’s family and one at mine. Tried a new hazy IPA called Friends Giving and was not disappointed. Went well overall.
Solid - taking a massive dump now as I fueled up on mac and cheese and other stuff I typically don't eat. Really need to lock down the nutrition and get back into the grind. Gonna eat these leftovers over the extended weekend.
We never have a thanksgiving dinner. Food is set out around 11am and everyone eats throughout the day

Interesting dinner setup. Thanksgiving is the American holiday my parents care the least about since they're not from the US, but we usually make the traditional stuff although there's no football (other than the World Cup) or any other American traditions. This year, we made an amazing pork shoulder roast instead of a turkey, and I got to say it was way better imo as a meal idea (plus fits Eastern European tastes much more).
