The Audit Internship

The first thing I have to say is that I am a finance type of guy trapped in an accountant's dream internship. I am just doing it for the money quite frankly. Just to make my internship more interesting I decided to share with you all my experiences (in case you are interested in being an audit intern in the near future), struggles, adventures, and anything interesting I come across. The internship will take place in Houston. With that being said, hopefully I can learn something the news hasn't covered yet about Fracking. I am almost guaranteed a client that deals with oil and energy.

The internship starts early January.

Just ran across this and it seems like we are in a similar situation. I'm actually an accounting major who was in to deep to jump ship to finance. Looks like we will be interning in audit at the same time in Houston. First choice was oil and energy as well. Shoot me a pm, we might be crossing paths.
