The big risks of short sales, DO NOT SELL

Given this ability to multiply the number of available shares into massive short positions, a short squeeze could have a cascade effect. When GameStop's share price goes up, both Bob and Diane are under pressure to cover their positions. Yet to do so, they each have to find available shares they can buy and return to Annie and Chris, respectively. When sellers aren't readily available, they'll have to pay through the nose to entice them. That's how the short squeeze accelerates.

Add to that the fact that risks on short sales are potentially unlimited, and you can understand why so many people advise against short-selling at all. As crazy as the current stock market environment has been with stocks that are heavily sold short, the silver lining is that it will likely encourage millions of investors to avoid using this risky strategy in their own portfolios.

Give me all the MS you want, but people are gonna sell out sooner or later... There are enough people that have bought the stock in the past week or so that will soon look at the gains and say "man, 2020 was rough, I could really use the money" and sell out. They'll think it's OK because everyone else is holding - but the reality is, many people are thinking the same thing. Once enough people sell and realize their gains, the stock will fall and panic will ensue, triggering a sell-off that pulls the stock back down.

GME can be really rewarding if you time it right, but it's also very risky for those who don't.

I think this week people have been repositioning their accounts outside of RH, so we may see some more upward movement. As far as people getting out, I think when DFV bails, we will see a majority bail as well. If I were him, I would bail this week as he has made 8 figures, but his name is Deep Fucking Value, so not sure how deep he is going to go.
