Monkeys, thank God it’s Friday, and today I want to talk about a writer who is near and dear to many of our simian hearts, and my sentiments are perfectly expressed by the following three words:
Midas, come back!
I, and many others, miss your frequently inflammatory posts, your verbal slaughtering of sacred cows, your outspoken viewpoints, your hilarious drinking stories, your trademark Guy Fawkes mask on NSFW, and your thinly veiled sexual references. My personal favorites were your posts during last year’s Man Week , the Thanksgiving party story, and of course, "Back To Life."
Even though many disagreed with your posts, your comments always challenged us and made us think, and you unapologetically take an axe to the weak points in any philosophy, no doubt before cackling maniacally and cracking open a Russian Imperial Stout. Much like the late Christopher Hitchens, you do all those things with scathing wit and gleeful abandon.
In all seriousness Midas, you’re in an important part of the community here, and reading your posts is an exercise in intellectual stimulation. Please, return to WSO with your writing, or at least provide an update for those of us who wonder what you’re doing, where you’re at, and of course, how much you’re winning.

Eddie, I can imagine it. He was telling me about how hard it was to do NSFW from a production standpoint. Add in his personality (and if he's reading this, he knows I say this with respect), and it can make for an interesting process.
Ant, I haven't spoken to the man in a while, but I don't doubt that he's busy as fuck. His new gig is pretty insane from what he was telling me.
Yeah, I was in the room when one of the NSFW was being filmed and it is not easy at all. I spoke with him a little while ago and he is just swamped. I hope things ease off and he can post again.
