I thought Oldboy was pretty sick, but a very good movie nonetheless. Apparently it pales in comparison to some of the movies mentioned above...

I almost went to this and my buddy backed out last minute on the drive from Houston. I am so happy I did not see this film. The plot is crazy

Wow. Just read A Serbian Film's plot and I'm amazed how that shit actually made it past the drawing board. Jesus Christ man that is sick. I can imagine all sorts of unholy things but damn, that is a whole new level of depraved.

Haven't seen Old Boy yet but they say its pretty cool.

I watched about 1 second of that news clip about the drug Krokodil (desomorphine) and couldnt watch any more. The guys arm bone was 100% exposed coming out of his arm. The most revolting thing - it is real and there are actually people in russia who do this to themselves.

My friend watched Salo: 120 days of sodom when I was in the room. I had to leave when they were eating some guys shit.

I told one of my friends about this serbian film and he told me about this movie called august underground. Same type of filth. Seriously, what is the point of these disgusting movies? Do people get off on this shit? How can anyone reasonably call this art...?

My friend suggested Visitor Q as a rival to Serbian Film... I think Serbian might win, but I am still scarred by the Visitor Q wiki entry!

Battle Royale is sick (but nothing too crazy) and an extremely good film. Director served in WWII at 15, you can see it in the film.

I would say Tomie and suicide club are alre also pretty good films, beyond just being entertaining.

Oh,almost forgot - a pretty fucked up film "Winter Lily".

I couldn't find a plot description online, so I'll write what i remember of the plot.

A photographer stops at the bed and breakfast (i don't remember if he got stranded by the snow storm, or if he just wanted an isolated quiet place to concentrate on his work or something) Over a few days he notices pics of a beautiful girl, then find her diary where she just writes stuff about her desires, about how she got sick, etc etc. So the father warned him that he can stay as long as he wants as long as he stays away from the daughter, but the mother talks to the guy and keeps just feeding his imagination, and then one day he ends up in the girl's room. She is lying on the bed in a white gown, fully made up, unable to move, the guy finally realizes that she is dead, but then starts arguing with himself that she is alive, just cant move. Then (in his mind) she starts telling him how lonely she is, and he ends up making out with her and having sex that she is totally into, while camera keeps showing shots from outsider perspective and he is just raping a dead body. But then he starts having a "relationship" with the girl, like taking her to different places on the farm, because she "asked him" since it really sucks for her to be all bedridden and only see out of her window. Long story short, mom wrote the diary and trapped the guy into molesting the girl's corpse because the girl died pretty young, and it was breaking mother's heart that the girl didn't experience life, so she kept her from completely decaying by injecting the body with embalming fluid and caking on make up. The dad of course went nuts and tried to kill everyone, but only he and his wife ended up dying; the guy in the end jumps out of the window, but then opens his eyes, so if he gets saved before freezing to death, he would have to live with himself raping a decaying corpse of an underage girl

Hostel & Hostel 2 The first one actually doesn't have a bad storyline. The second one is grosser but sux as a story

A movie that is weirdly disturbing but not sick like these (i.e. I still think it is worth watching) is Gummo. Same director as Kids.

if we are gonna talk about disturbing movies that are not really fucked up, I highly recommend Pan's Labyrinth. Wow. That movie was so....just sad in how someone is not in touch with reality, but you also can see how it is a better way for them to be.

Dumplings (a Chinese film) is pretty fun. Not nearly as disturbing as Antichrist or A Serbian Film sounds, but it literally is food for thought...

You could make a case for American Psycho if they had made the movie exactly like the book. Seeing as they didnt, from what i know about the Serbian Film it sounds like a clear cut winner.

Okay..human centipede is the one i would call sickest! other than that, A serbian film is non-existent for me. I just read its plot and I wonder why did I do that at first place!

You know, a bulk of the stuff on this list is shock value. Antichrist was a phenomenal film, and leave it to Lars Von Trier to continue doing what he does best. If anyone has seen his prior works (like Manderlay and Dogville, where he borrows the same method of story telling for Antichrist, or his Europa and Dogma 95 Trilogies), this fits in perfectly with what he tries to do as a film maker. A little crazy, but not that sick.

Now, I'm not sure how much flack I'll get for this, but despite the way it ended, you know what movie, for the longest time, I had considered to be one of the sickest films made... A Clockwork Orange. If you watch that film from start to finish, it's pretty damned gruesome but without the shock value that you guys expect from newer movies. I'd rewatch it with an open mind before you judge me on my choice.

LOL @ Tim Curry. Rocky Horror was an absolute phenomenon when I was growing up in the 70's. People would line up around the block for midnight screenings on Friday and Saturday nights.

And Susan Sarandon was a total dime piece back then.
