The World Currency Draft

Bear with me as I type on my phone, but what if we removed all currency pegs and created a "draft" for currencies to be tied to particular commodities. Presumably, we could order by GDP and there could be pick swaps.

1) USA selects Gold
2) China selects Silver
3) Japan selects Copper
….
9) Canada selects lumber

13) Brazil selects Coffee
19) Saudi Arabia selects crude oil

69) El Salvador has swapped picks with Guatemala to select essential oils for cash considerations (Bitcoin)

Feel free to add to the list. This is in no-way meant to be serious, but feel free to explore the idea below.

Edit: The waiver wire preference would be inverse GDP as well.
