Guys got all the talent in the world, probably the most talented player in the NBA already. Really hope he focuses his training on being durable. Honestly think Kevin Durant could have been the best player of all time if he wasn't always injured for the later part of his prime. Wemby is Durant with an extra 6 inches and longer wingspan. Spurs are boring IMO but at least he's got Pop to help guide him in his early years. NBA more talented than ever - expansion team coming soon
The important thing is never to let oneself be guided by the opinion of one's contemporaries; to continue steadfastly on one's way without letting oneself be either defeated by failure or diverted by applause.
A high five for others is just a mid five for Wemby 😂😂😂

I think Wemby’s ceiling is incredibly high, but I also think Chet Holmgren has almost as much potential. Wemby just has more hype behind him than Chet does. I could see Wemby benefiting from taking the Giannis approach (beefing up and sticking to what he does well already), while Chet should model his game and development after KD (stay slim and be a pure scorer with good defensive game). Overall though, I think the one that stays healthier will be the one that has the better career. Excited to watch both of them this year
Dude is an absolute freak of nature that fits perfectly with what a mad scientist would come up with if asked to create a perfect basketball physique... I'm genuinely interested to see how his health holds up long-term or if there are underlying genetic issues he's going to run into.

May be a dumb question, but can’t a guy like that just post up and dunk every single alley-oop thrown his way?
like there’s almost no way to defend a guy that tall it’d be too easy
I’ve seen a team practicing with “Wemby arms” - big arms you hold on to that mimic Wemby’s 8ft wingspan - it’s pretty funny to watch.

there is a 3 second rule in the paint - and i'd imagine he is going to get double teamed in the post up scenario or the zone defense is going to slide as he gets to the rim. But your kind of right, he is playing on easy mode and can get to the rim very easily. His only weakness seems that he is slow in transition and more injury prone. Durant's jumper on him was beautiful.

Going to be incredible provided he does not get hurt.
Has every possibility of being one of the greats
Kid has a lot of potential in basketball. Great to see rising talent in sports
Just saw some highlights. He has the potential to be a better Porzingis and Bol
