Hey there, anybody ever gift or receive a whiskey box membership? If so, can you recommend and/or steer me away from any of them?
I'm trying to come up with a different spin on my Valentine's gift to my man. I've bought him full bottles of liquor and tickets to whiskey and rum tastings for Valentine's in the past.
I've been seeing a whiskey box membership popping up in a number of media and wanted opinions on Flaviar's offerings: what you think of the value, variety and taste of the range of whiskeys in the box, etc. Their concept looks good, 3 selections per month, tastings are enough for a couple of drinks, just to give you enough of a sense of if the selection suits you. Looks like a year's subscription all includes a full bottle of whiskey along with various perks relating to tastings and other stuff.
Again, your experience doesn't have to be Flaviar-specific, I'm totally open to competitors, just want to do a little homework on this.
