Money really is everything to you fucking people.

It's difficult to afford a middle or UMC lifestyle in NYC on less than that if you're planning on having children.

 

I make wayyyyy less than that and am getting married next year. My fiance also doesn't plan on being a stay at home wife so I guess that helps, but if I doubled to tripled my salary to make what we make in total now... we still wouldn't be at the 150k mark and I would still be getting married next year.

tl;dr; Money doesn't buy love.
