Top Excuses to bunk work!!!

Hi,

last week i did the unthinkable....i took 3 days leave citing high fever( i actually had..a serious fever is worse than what you think..fuckin kills ur whole day) ...i know there is nothing path breaking in it and it is just a lame thing to admit but the interesting thing was that with the hours i was putting last week and the week before the fever was a welcome change!! so the 3rd day was just the day i woke up when i felt like, played soccer, went driving around with friends , watched american splendor and station agent....in short had a quiet little weekend in the middle of one!

so i was just wondering....and its only logical for this to cross your mind....

when was the last time you didnt go to work citing an excuse

if not, your dream scenario you have built up inside ur head to not go to work!

dont judge me for this...i love my work, what i do , team i am in and the opportunity i have got, but cmmon once in a while i guess no matter how glued ur to ur work slash career you feel like taking that morning session off/ sleep like a log during the afternoon and go hit it out in the pub the second clock strikes 6....

I once had to bail on an internship due to family deaths. This is actually not a joke.

I had an internship offered to me in Australia.

All of my immediate family members (people I live with and supported me) died during finals week (awesome timing).

Due to the slew of mental, financial and legal issues associated with that I had to bail on my internship two weeks before it started. I HAD to stay in the states to sort out so much crap. Needless to say it was the most awesome summer of my life.

It's called sarcasm. Admittingly, it is hard or show behind the veneer of the internet.
