idk i feel like we already have enough of 'those' types of films
The trailer makes it look far better than I imagine it will actually be... versus Interstellar which has a lackluster trailer for possibly a great movie. I believe Transcendence will do well but be a bit to absurd to garner any real aclaim.
Yeah, I'm really not sure. The idea is very interesting and the trailer looks like it could have potential, not to mention all the people associated with the film. I would have thought that the release date implies insiders think it's not worthy of acclaim, but then again The Matrix also came out around the same time of year during its release and is one of the best in the sci fi genre...though it never got nominated for any of the main academy awards, only things like best visual effects and sound.
