travel expenses/reimbursement @ BB
how thoroughly do firms check/verify receipts before issuing credit? for example, do they call airlines to confirm if the ticket number on the electric receipt is valid/legitimate?

Are you serious?
yes. the company will cover travel expenses up to $3000, so i bought a 3000+ ticket and cancelled it after receiving the receipt.
Only a matter of time before the SEC came trolling.
If I am understanding this correctly, and I sure hope I am not, you are trying to scam a BB into giving you $3,000.
Do not try to steal from your company because 1) you will get fired, 2) they will most likely make sure that you do not work for another BB, 3) you work for this company for crying out loud you are suppose to try and MAKE the company money! and 4) it is just a terrible idea.
I think that is all I have to add to this asinine idea.
Yeah what a ridiculous question. Take your shady ethics somewhere else. You must think you are really creative but guess what, there are plenty of ways to scam the system in this business. But, those who succeed maintain their integrity.
